I realize it's a trivial complaint but the actual, physical weight of the book made it hard to read since I had to hold it up and find a comfortable sitting posture to support the weight of it. I mean, I've seen the movie, I actually read "Earth in the Balance," what more does he have to add? It goes through energy, ways to produce it, their challenges, etc.
