So I thinks it's best to go with whatever works for each of us: Thats one of the many problems with Linux. Win7 puts a giant weight on system resources but at least it's the most stable version since win, and in my opinion Win8 basically just sux. I like where it's heading though, and I think what is important is not how it is now, but how it will be just in a few versions, because it has great great potential.

Elementary OS 0.2 Luna review – now that’s more like it
As it turns out, the Xfce desktop is a lot like Luna, and it's suppose to be very "light weight". The goal is to provide the best user experience.

Really like both elementary for me is winning my heartprobably because it feels more like a mac than Mac does now lol, not totally commited yet but I do like that I can just work with the graphic apps and the os just supports in the background.
