I was part of a Marsha Lineham DBT group for thrrapy 2 years, hehavior this follows much of the same principles, but puts it into easy to read and understand language for a person to work with alone.
This is not the simplest workbook, but doing it, and then asking your therapist to work on sections where you see you struggle is a heck of a lot better than doing nothing!
The former is very much aimed at people with BPD, and I couldn't relate to a lot of it. You may have already requested this item.

In recent weeks [I'm writing this in mid-May, ], I have invoked "radical acceptance" and "doing what's effective" a LOT. I've also developed a knee-jerk reaction against the word "should. In order to make use of these techniques, you need to build skills in four key areas-distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. EQ balance and work on your interpersonal effectiveness skills.
Most of the exercises in it are very useful. It's a full dialecticql which leads the participant through various worksheets and exercises, teaching you how to meditate and self-soothe, think critically about situations that tend to cause you grief, giving you tactics to avoid problems in the future.
Start by working on the introductory exercises and, after making progress, move on to the advanced-skills chapters. I liked the workbook format because I wanted to help myself but not commit to therapy.
This interactive program can be used by clients working on their own, or their therapists can monitor their work on the secure dalectical. Citations are based on reference standards. The authors explain many of the principles of DBT really well and in a way that is understandable, I think this is because the book is aimed at individuals who are wanting to engage in DBT, rather than therapists delivering DBT.
